Advanced Materials Engineering and Modelling Group

The Advanced Materials Engineering and Modelling (AMEM) Group (in Polish: Katedra Inżynierii i Modelowania Materiałów Zaawansowanych) was created in January 2015 as the result of a reorganization of structures within the Faculty of Chemistry at the Wrocław University of Technology. A part of this reorganization was dissolution of the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry (I-30). In its place two smaller units were formed: the AMEM Group and the Department of Physical and Quantum Chemistry. The AMEM group is a confederation of several informal research teams led by 8 professors and consisting of more than 20 researchers and almost the same number of PhD students.
